Office Gift Set

This is the 2nd half of the gift set I gave my sister and sister-in-law. The paper you see here is actually retired but any if the designer paper will work. Just pick your favorite colors. The set consists of 1 covered composition notebook, 1 covered mini composition notebook, 4 three inch cards, 4 four inch cards, and four 41/4 x 5 1/2 cards. and a post it note holder. 

       

The designer paper works so well for a gift like this. You don't use the exact same pattern of paper on everything or even the same color. But because it all comes from the same designer paper it has a coordinated look that coordinates. By using ribbon and accessories from the same colors as in the paper dresses up the look of the items. The flowers are from the "Eastern Bloom" stamp set. The Thanks stamp is from the level 2 hostess set called "A little Somethin' " from the 2009 Spring Summer catalog.

Stationary Gift Set

I love giving handmade gifts. These are stationary gift sets that I made for my sister and my sister-in-law. Each set consists of 10 monogram cards with 10 lined envelopes, 10 monogram seals for the envelopes, a pen made to match the cards, and a monogram bookmark made from a giant paperclip.

     

Here is the list of supplies for this project:

• 1 package of monochromatic designer paper

• 1 package of Whisper White card stock

• 1 package of envelopes

• 1 package of 8 1/2 x 11 plain colored (that matches the monochromatic paper)

• 1 roll of coordinating ribbon

• Large paperclips and RSVP pens from an Office Supply store.

Optional: I used the 1 3/8 circle punch and the scallop circle punch and scallop border punch from Stampin' Up!  (You could use what punches you have or cut out your preferred shapes freehand.)

This list of supplies will make 4 sets of 10 with left over supplies. With your left overs you could decorate a gift bag to put the set in.

Spa Gift Basket

 

I needed a gift for a good friend and thought a "Spa Basket" would be a good idea. All of the items in the basket were bought at the Target Dollar Spot last spring. I found the basket at the dollar store. I love how it turned out. Using the Designer Series Paper and the matching ribbons and card stock gives a varied but coordinated look

              

   

The writing on the white tags I did with my computer. Then using Designer Series paper, (This happens to be left overs from the Spring Summer catalog but any of the Designer Series Papers would work) my circle and scallop punches, ribbon, and card stock, I made the various wraps and tages for the bath items. The soap you see in front I "rewrapped" in the designer paper. The Chocolates are from Costco and wrapped in strips of the same Designer paper. The filler paper is sheets of white 81/2 x14 paper that I swiped with the Regal Rose Ink Pad.
