My Digital Studio Page

Have you ever tried Digital Scrapbooking. I had my first crack at it this winter.  I still enjoy paper scrapbooking, but I'm kind of liking the digital as well. The program My Digital Studio is so easy to use that it didn't take me that long to figure out how to use it. Here is one page that I did for my youngest daughter. She loves her pets and spends hours with them. Pets pictured are Cinder the Dog, Katrina the Ferret, and Jersey the Cat. Not pictured are Gunner the dog (puppy) and Tucker the Ferret. Yes, you counted right 5 animals! This house is at Critter capacity!!! She lets the animals take turns in hanging out in her room with her. They get extra special attention, some yummy treats, and lots of TLC.

About the page. This is a template page from the kit Sunny Days. All I had to do was drag and drop my photos. I found the quote online. It fits the page perfectly! Thas page took me only a few minutes to do.

Love You Much Card

 

I have seen the color combination of Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, and Kraft and thought it was very pretty. I wanted to give it a try by making a "friend" Valentine card using the Love You Much stamp set. The 4x4 card is made from Kraft card stock. I swiped the edges with Whisper White Ink, I stamped the background with the 3 heart stamp and Versamark ink. So you see the sparkles on the heart? It is so easy to do. I stamped Whisper White card stock with Pretty in Pink ink and then embossed it with Iridescent embossing powder. Isn't it cute?  I used Taffeta white ribbon to finish it off. The friend to friend is stamped in Whisper White.

A Dazzling Diamonds Heart Card

I love using the Kraft cardstock with pink and red. This card is very similar to yesterdays card. It has the Kraft base with the red Sending Love Specialty Designer Paper along the bottom. Instead of stamping a heart I decided to punch a heart from Pretty in PInk Cardstock. I stamped the saying on it in Pretty in Pink. To give it a little pizazz I put Tombow glue around the edges and dusted it with dazzling diamonds. I put a little piece of pink ribbon behind the heart for that extra touch. I swiped the edges of the cardstock with Very Vanilla Craft ink.

Valentines Card for a friend

Today's Card is a valentine card for a friend. It was quick and easy. I also wanted to use the Loves Specialty Designer Paper from the occasions mini catalog. That paper is so pretty and sparkly! The DSP under the heart is actually the flip side of the same piece of paper.

I started with an One 8x4 piece of Kraft card stock scored in the middle. I cut a piece of the Sending Love Specialty Paper 1 3/4 inches by 4 inches and another piece 1 inch by 2 inches. Using the corner rounder punch I rounded the bottom corners of my card and the bottom corners of the larger piece of Designer paper, and all the corners of the small piece of Designer Paper.

 

1. One 8x4 piece of Kraft card stock scored in the middle

2. Cut one piece of the Sending Love Specialty Paper 1 3/4 inches by 4 inches and second piece 1 by 2  inches.

3. Using a corner rounder round all for corners of the craft card stock (The front and back Bottom corners if the card is folded.) all 4 corners of the small Designer Paper, and the bottom 2 corners of the larger piece of designer paper.

4. Using the Scallop border punch punch the top of the large designer paper.

5. Using either white or Very Vanilla Craft pad lightly swipe the edges of the Kraft card stock.

6. Take the "friend" heart stamp from the "I {heart} hearts stamp set. Stamp with Real Red on Very Vanilla.

7. Using the large heart punch punch out your friend heart.

8. Adhere the large piece of Designer paper to the bottom of the card red side up.

9. Adhere the small piece of Designer paper to the top half of the card.

10. Center the heart over the small piece of paper with dimentionals.

Valentine Sparkly Class

Your loved one will have a sparkle in their eye when you give them this Sparkly card on Valentines Day. Nothing says "I love you" more than when you give your husband or boyfriend that you make yourself. Valentine Card

Have you seen the Sweet Pea Designer Paper in the Mini Occasions Catalog? It is so cute and so versatile. The pictures in the catalog do it no justice. The best part is you get 48 sheets of 12 x 12 paper! 2 each of 24 double sided sheets. That is 48 designs! Some of the pages lend themselves to scrapbooking-in fact some would make very cute scrapbook pages with very little embellishments. The possibilities are endless! I can't wait to try out more of the pages.

The card I made is very simple. It took me about 5 minutes to put together.

 

For this card I started with a 3 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. I used the first sheet in the pad and cut a 3 x 41/4 piece. I cut an 1 3/4 inch strip from the end of it. I used a corner rounder and rounded each corner of the card and the small piece of paper. Using snail I put the large piece on circle side up and the second piece polka dot side up. I tied 1/2 inch Bermuda Bay ribbon over the seam of the paper. Using the Sale-a-bration label set I stamped a for you on Pretty in Pink and punched it with a 1 inch circle punch. I mounted that on a Rose Red 1 1/4 inch circle. I used dimensionls to put in on the card.

Personal Marker Board

Do you have kids in your life that you need gifts for? This project is a perfect and inexpensive gift, or a fun project to do as a craft with your own kids...or both!

It is a personal Marker Board! All you need is a picture frame, some Stampin' Up! designer series paper, and your imagination.

Take your picture frame apart and take out the paper insert. This is your guide. You will also want to take note of how much the frame covers the picture once it is inserted.

Cut your paper to desired size. You can use one sheet or multiple sheets. Pick out your desired embellishments and add them to your paper. Once everything is done insert the finished product into the frame. The glass acts as the marker board. You can buy dry erase markers at your local dollar store.
